One of the great parts of living in Devonshire, a master-planned community located just east of Dallas in the charming town of Forney, is its proximity to everything the DFW Metroplex has to offer. Whether it’s shopping at the hundreds of well-known retail stores, dining at some of the world’s best restaurants, enjoying touring musical acts and hot shows, world-class museums, and the best antiquing shops on the planet (just around the corner), Devonshire is close to almost anything a man, woman or child would enjoy.
This is especially true for professional sports. It would be tough to find an area, in any part of the world, with more high-profile, successful sports franchises than this area of North Texas. This is also beginning to be the case with the Dallas Mavericks basketball team, due to the international profile of NBA superstar Luka Doncic.
If live sports is your passion, living in Devonshire puts you and your kids close enough to get to the kick-off, tip-off, puck-drop or opening pitch, in a matter of minutes. Forget the circus (which also comes to town every year), these are the greatest shows on earth!
